Supply Chain manager IN EU
Target:
Ensure Import Compliance and Timeliness: Manage import processes to comply with local regulations and avoid customs delays.
Optimize Logistics and Distribution Efficiency: Coordinate logistics to ensure safe and timely delivery to customers and the sales team.
Inventory Management and Audit Support: Maintain inventory accuracy, conduct regular counts, and support external audits.
Cost Control: Rigorously control import and delivery expenses to minimize additional costs.
Support Sourcing of Competitive Supply Options: Assist the China team in identifying competitive supply channels.
Supply Chain Management / Customs Clearance:
Oversee all product import processes, ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with purchase orders.
Collaborate with HQ and customs agents to review and coordinate necessary documentation, preventing any delays in customs clearance.
Manage tax invoicing and oversee timely reimbursement from customers for import expenses.
Streamline logistics to ensure timely distribution of products to customers and sales teams.
Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure safe and punctual product deliveries.
Ensure insurance coverage for all EU inland deliveries, confirming costs of new delivery addresses with the sales team.
Engage with transportation and warehousing providers for efficient, responsive, and cost-effective daily operations (e.g., service terms, reporting, response).
Control import expenses at each stage to minimize extra costs.
Support the China team in exploring competitive supply source to reduce costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
Research and evaluate new suppliers, ensuring reliability, quality, and cost advantages.
Communicate regularly with the China team to understand their needs and provide market insights, assisting them in making optimal sourcing decisions.
Inventory Management:
Process inventory entries in the system to facilitate invoicing.
Maintain thorough control over all company-owned goods, including those in transit and stored in warehouses.
Provide clear instructions to warehouses for accurate inventory management.
Support external audits to ensure stock control and compliance with documentation throughout purchase, import, and invoicing processes.
Organize quarterly physical inventory counts and oversee monthly counts conducted by warehouse staff.
Evaluate options for service providers that offer competitive costs, fast response times, and effective solutions.
Reporting:
Update and share stock balance reports with the sales team every two weeks and assist them with system verification as needed.
Prepare delivery schedules and upcoming shipment reports by customer.
Generate reports listing outstanding import expense collections from customers.
Requirement:
3-5 years of relevant work experience in crop protection or chemical companies.
Background in Chemistry or Agronomy.
Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
Position based in Europe, with the flexibility to homeworking.
